Wen Livingston, who runs the library, shared her excitement about the event. She normally doesn’t look forward to working extra hours, but the happiness seen in the kids changed her mood, making her feel great for the entire weekend. She believes this makes the event valuable for her and everyone in the community.

The event started just before 6 p.m., with kids lined up and ready. Some dressed up in holiday outfits, while others wore coordinating Christmas pajamas. Regardless of their attire, their main goal was to meet Santa, the cheerful man in the red suit. While not all kids had a written list, each had at least one wish for Christmas.
