IDEMIA brings TSA PreCheck mobile enrollment to Okaloosa County administration building

Shalimar, Florida – IDEMIA is set to hold a TSA PreCheck enrollment event, offering travelers an opportunity to streamline their airport security experience. This event is scheduled to take place at the Okaloosa County Administration Building located at 1250 N Eglin Parkway in Shalimar. The enrollment window is open from March 4th to 21st, with an additional day on March 22nd.

Simplified Security Screening

As a TSA enrollment services provider, IDEMIA will deploy a mobile enrollment station in the administration building’s parking lot, making it accessible for interested participants to join the PreCheck program. Applicants eager to take advantage of this service are encouraged to schedule their appointments online.

The TSA PreCheck program is designed to offer a more efficient screening process at over 200 airports nationwide. Members of the program enjoy expedited screening lanes, allowing them to pass through security without the need to remove shoes, light jackets, belts, or take out laptops and liquids from their carry-on bags. This not only enhances the travel experience but also significantly reduces wait times, with most PreCheck passengers waiting five minutes or less to be screened.

Enrollment Requirements

To enroll in the TSA PreCheck program, applicants are required to present a U.S. passport or a certified birth certificate along with another form of government-issued photo identification. It is crucial that the names on all documents match. The enrollment process includes filling out a form, which can be completed online in advance, and providing fingerprints, which will be taken on-site at the mobile enrollment station.

The Okaloosa County Administration Building will host the event according to the following schedule: March 4th to 21st from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on March 22nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s important to note that the enrollment station will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
