Free waterfront concerts return to downtown Fort Walton Beach on Friday evenings

Fort Walton Beach, Florida – Residents and visitors in Fort Walton Beach will soon have a chance to enjoy live music by the waterfront as the city prepares for the return of its Concerts at the Landing Spring Series. Organizers recently announced the full lineup for the 2026 season, which will bring a mix of musical styles to the stage in downtown Fort Walton Beach.
The free concerts will take place on Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fort Walton Beach Landing, located at 139 Brooks Street SE. The popular community event invites people to relax outdoors while enjoying live performances in the heart of the city. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs and settle in for an evening of music along the waterfront.

The series begins on May 8 with a performance by Miles Flatt, whose show will feature a blend of country and party rock favorites. The following week, on May 15, the band Grace and Grit will take the stage, bringing a sound rooted in country and Southern rock.
Music continues on May 22 with Count The Years, offering a high-energy mix of party rock variety. The final concert of May will take place on May 29, when Stormfolk performs an alternative folk-rock set.
The series carries into early summer with Emily Bass scheduled to perform on June 5, delivering a mix of pop and country influences.
The season will conclude with a special Independence Day celebration on July 4. Rock variety band Scratch 2020 will headline the evening’s entertainment. Activities at the Landing will run from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., followed by fireworks display from 8:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.

City officials say the concert series offers a welcoming setting for families, friends, and music lovers to gather outdoors and enjoy live performances throughout the spring and early summer months.
