Fort Walton Beach, Florida – With two interesting community activities designed for families and children, Fort Walton Beach this weekend promises an explosion of family enjoyment. Starting Friday, April 11, the 2025 Bunny Hop Trail will be followed by the Construction Junction on Saturday, April 12.

Running from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Preston Hood Athletic Complex, the Bunny Hop Trail is a one-of-a-kind “trick-or-treat” style event. As families stroll along the walking trail, children will be greeted with various fun-filled stations where they can engage in activities such as bounce houses and face painting. A special photo booth will be available for kids to capture their memories with the Easter Bunny, adding to the joy and making it a great place for a family portrait during the holiday.

From the fanciful to the informative, the next day’s event, Construction Junction, will take place at the Okaloosa County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arranged by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, this event provides a hands-on opportunity for both children and adults to investigate a wide range of construction equipment and heavy trucks. From police cars and military trucks to tow trucks and helicopters, the variety of machinery is likely to fascinate people of all ages.
