Fort Walton Beach, Florida – The City of Fort Walton Beach is looking for committed and talented people to join its team. The city is inviting applications from candidates ready to change their community through opportunities across many important departments. Positions available

For both full-time and part-time roles, the Police Department actively seeks full-time police officers, part-time reserve police officers, seasonal school crossing guards, and communications officers. For those driven by serving and protecting, these positions provide an opportunity to help to ensure community safety.

The Fire Department is also recruiting, with positions open for firefighters and a deputy fire chief. These roles are vital for ensuring the city’s preparedness and response to emergencies.
