Destin parade brings coastal spirit and festive cheer together in one celebration

Destin, Florida – Destin is preparing to welcome the holiday season with its annual Christmas Parade, bringing festive energy to the streets of the city. This year’s theme, “Seashells and Sleigh Bells,” blends the coastal spirit of the Emerald Coast with traditional holiday cheer.

The event is set for Saturday, December 13, 2025. Participants will begin gathering at 8 a.m. at the Destin Methodist Church, with staging accessible from the north road between the church and Bent Arrow Drive. The parade itself will step off at 10 a.m., rolling west along Harbor Boulevard, also known as Highway 98, before concluding at Stahlman Avenue.

Organizers see the parade is a highlight of the season, drawing families, local groups, and businesses together to showcase holiday floats, marching units, and community pride. With its blend of beach-themed décor and Christmas traditions, “Seashells and Sleigh Bells” is expected to bring a distinctive Destin twist to the celebration.

Community members who want to take part can still apply. Applications are being accepted through the Destin Community Center, and organizers encourage residents, schools, and organizations to get involved in shaping the festive lineup.
