Okaloosa County schools seek new hires at upcoming job fair in Fort Walton Beach; teachers, supporting staff, and bus drivers wanted

Okaloosa County, Florida – Aimed at strengthening its personnel for the next school year, the Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) is getting ready for an interesting event. The district will have a job fair at the Multipurpose Building of Choctawhatchee High School located at 110 Racetrack Road in Fort Walton Beach on Saturday, April 5, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Everyone interested in a variety of educational professions can attend this event; it is free.
From teachers and substitute teachers to bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and housekeeping personnel, OCSD is seeking to fill many roles across the district. The district stresses that there are possibilities for people who want to directly work with students as well as those who would want to help with various roles supporting educational initiatives.

Apart from the initiatives for job hiring, the district’s Professional Services Department will hold a unique workshop called “How to Become a Teacher” at the fair. This seminar is meant to give those who are thinking about moving into teaching positions useful knowledge, but maybe need direction on where to start.
