January community chat with Fort Walton Beach city manager moved to January 8

Fort Walton Beach, Florida – Residents who want to go to the City of Fort Walton Beach’s monthly community meeting with city authorities should note a little adjustment to the January program. The Coffee with the City Manager event that was supposed to happen soon has been moved to later in the month because of the New Year’s Day holiday.
The casual meeting will now be on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The Fort Walton Beach Public Library will host the gathering, which is a continuation of the history of holding the event in a comfortable and easy-to-reach place for people who live nearby.
Coffee with the City Manager is a chance for people in the community to talk directly with City Manager Jason Davis. The program promotes open discourse, giving people in Fort Walton Beach a chance to voice their thoughts, ask questions, and talk about their concerns about city services, development, and other things that influence their everyday lives. There is no need to sign up ahead of time, and people are welcome to pop by with a cup of coffee and join the conversation.

The presentation is part of a monthly series that usually takes place on the first Thursday morning of each month. Meetings are held at the conference room of the Fort Walton Beach Public Library, which is located at 185 Miracle Strip Parkway SE. This is a familiar and easy-to-reach place for people to meet with city authorities.
City officials say that the event is a simple method for people to keep informed and involved. It gives people an opportunity to learn about ongoing initiatives and city goals, and it also gives leaders a chance to hear directly from the community. The new date in January makes sure that the conversation can still happen without getting in the way of the holiday agenda.
People who live in the area are welcome to stop up, join the conversation, and find out more about what’s going on in their city during this rescheduled January session.
