The program is set up to give young athletes a solid grounding in the sport while also focusing on injury prevention, playing by the rules, response training, balance, movement, and coordination. These skills not only make people better at volleyball, but they also help them become more confident and conscious of their bodies.

Children who register are required to bring knee pads for safety. The cost is $60 for Destin residents and $90 for non-residents. Registration is available online through the city’s recreation portal at www.cityofdestin.com/reconline.
