Monthly reminder: Locals invited to meet Fort Walton Beach City Manager Jason Davis this Thursday

Fort Walton Beach, Florida – Fort Walton Beach City Manager Jason Davis invites local residents to join him for coffee and chat on Thursday morning at the Fort Walton Beach Public Library.

The informal gathering, which runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., provides people in the community a chance to talk to Davis directly in a relaxing setting. The main topic of this month’s meeting will be the city’s new “Cleanest City on the Emerald Coast” program. This campaign aims to improve cleanliness and community pride in Fort Walton Beach.

The event is at the library’s lobby conference room at 185 Miracle Strip Parkway SE. People are welcome to just show up; no registration is needed. People can come by any time throughout the hour, have a cup of coffee, and bring their questions, thoughts, or concerns to the table.

The session is part of a monthly series that takes place on the first Thursday of every month. Its goal is to improve communication between the city’s authorities and the people. The casual style is meant to make civic involvement easier for everyone to get involved in.
