Fort Walton Beach Police Department brings back Construction Junction for an action-packed day

Okaloosa County, Florida – Okaloosa County residents, prepare for an explosive day! Because, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Construction Junction will be making its much awaited comeback to the Okaloosa County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Coordinated by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, this family-friendly event offers an interesting, hands-on experience with some of the largest and most potent machines in use.
From gigantic military trucks to elegant police cruisers and towering construction vehicles, participants will get the opportunity to get close-up with a range of large-scale machinery. Additionally on exhibit will be helicopters, tow trucks, and other amazing vehicles, allowing both children and adults an opportunity to look into these marvels in friendly and safe surroundings.
The enjoyment does not stop there, though. The event this year will include bouncy houses, a sand mountain for digging, and lots of safety-related activities meant to entertain and educate. The Home Depot “Kids Crew,” where young builders may try their hand at assembling exciting, hands-on building kits—perfect for inspiring creativity and introducing fundamental building techniques—will be among the highlights.
