City of Destin invites community to annual Family Independence Day Celebration & Bike Parade

Destin, Florida – This year, the City of Destin invites the community to the annual Family Independence Day Celebration & Bike Parade. The event will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at Destin Elementary School, located at 630 Kelly Street. The fun starts at 4 p.m., with the Bike Parade kicking off at 6 p.m. Remember to pre-register your children for the Bike Parade if they’re 14 & under at www.cityofdestin.com/reconline.

The celebration is open to everyone and completely free. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy the summer evening, watch the parade, and indulge in some tasty treats from the food trucks that will be available from 4 to 7 p.m. Whether you’re bringing a bike, stroller, or wagon, make sure it’s decked out because there will be prizes for the best decorations in various categories.
