Below Alabama brings country and Southern rock to Fort Walton Beach waterfront this Friday night
Fort Walton Beach, Florida – Friday night in downtown Fort Walton Beach will come with a country and Southern rock soundtrack as the city’s fall concert series returns to the waterfront.
Below Alabama is scheduled to take the stage at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, continuing the Fall 2026 Concerts at The Landing series at Fort Walton Beach Landing, 139 Brooks Street SE.
The free weekly event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., giving residents and visitors another chance to spend an evening outdoors while listening to live music in the heart of downtown Fort Walton Beach.
Friday’s performance is part of an eight-week concert series organized by the City of Fort Walton Beach with partners Dan Collins Entertainment and 102.1 The Wave. The series features a different act each Friday night and is scheduled to continue through Oct. 23.

Below Alabama will bring a mix of country and Southern rock to this week’s show. The performance is the first of four remaining concerts currently listed on the city’s fall schedule.
Those who cannot attend Friday still have several opportunities to catch live music at The Landing before the series wraps up later this month.
On Oct. 9, Cat Rhodes & The Truth is scheduled to perform a mix of blues, funk and neo soul. The Chase Mitchell Band follows on Oct. 16 with another country and Southern rock performance.
The final scheduled concert of the season is set for Oct. 23, when Rockstarfish is expected to close the series with a party rock variety show.
All remaining concerts are scheduled for the same 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday time slot at Fort Walton Beach Landing.
The waterfront park has become the setting for the city’s weekly fall music lineup, offering a central downtown location for the free performances. With four Fridays still on the calendar, the series will move through several musical styles before reaching its final show.
For this Friday, however, the focus is firmly on country and Southern rock as Below Alabama takes over The Landing stage and carries the concert series into October.
