Destin’s Fall Community Yard Sale returns Saturday with $15 resident spots and four hours of bargain hunting

Destin, Florida – For anyone hoping to turn a crowded closet into a little extra cash, or pick up something useful without paying retail prices, Saturday morning in Destin will offer both opportunities. The city’s Fall Community Yard Sale returns October 3, bringing residents, sellers and bargain hunters together at the Destin Community Center.

The sale will run from 8 a.m. to noon at 101 Stahlman Avenue, with vendors allowed to begin setting up at 7 a.m. Seller spaces remain priced at $15 for Destin residents and $25 for non-residents, and each registration includes one 6-foot table and two chairs.

People interested in selling items can register through the city’s recreation portal at cityofdestin.com/reconline or contact the Destin Community Center at (850) 654-5184. Questions about available spaces, residency pricing or table arrangements should also be directed to the community center.

The setup closely follows the format Destin used for its October 2025 community sale. Last year, vendors received one city-provided table and two chairs in a section of the parking lot and were permitted to bring an additional table from home. The city’s 2026 flyer confirms the included table and chairs but does not repeat the extra-table provision, so sellers planning larger displays should check with staff before Saturday.

Shoppers may find a broad mix of merchandise. A public multi-family listing advertising the event mentions vintage pieces, home decor, household goods, golf clubs, cameras and new gift items, with multiple families expected to participate. That listing is separate from the city and does not represent an official inventory, but it offers a glimpse of what could appear on the tables.

The yard sale is one of several activities scheduled at the community center that morning.

Saturday’s event is the fall edition of a recurring Destin community tradition. The city also hosted a yard sale at the community center on March 28, 2026. Later this month, the facility is scheduled to host an open house on October 21 and the Fall Festival on October 26.

For Saturday, however, the focus will be simple: tables, secondhand finds and four hours of bargain hunting in the heart of Destin.
