Fort Walton Beach Landing transforms into hub of music, fun, and community spirit on July 4 for Independence Day celebration

Fort Walton, Florida – The City of Fort Walton Beach will host its much-anticipated annual Independence Day celebration at the Fort Walton Beach Landing on Friday, July 4, 2025. The festivities will start at 5 p.m. and will include live music, delicious food, and the sights and sounds of summer. Everyone is welcome.
As a number of food vendors set up along the Landing, downtown Fort Walton Beach will come alive with something for everyone. As you walk about the event with friends and family, you’ll have a lot of choices for food, whether you want conventional festival food or something a little unusual.
It will be great to see Scratch 2020 back on stage again. Known for their lively performances, the band promises to keep the energy high with a setlist spanning rock and roll hits from every era. Their high-energy music is a must-have at local events, and as the sun sets over Santa Rosa music, it will definitely get the crowd on its feet.

Fireworks are a must for any Fourth of July celebration, and this year’s show is sure to be amazing. At 8:45 p.m., everyone will be looking up at the sky as the fireworks light up the night above Santa Rosa Sound. This will be the perfect end to a night of fun and community spirit.
