Michelle from The Rescued Rescuers writes: Eight-year-old Olive came to The Rescued Rescuers from one of the local shelters because she was in need of more help than they were able to give. She has an intermediary grade malignancy (breast cancer) and has undergone her first surgery to remove the largest masses and bladder stones (and her much-needed spay and dental), but will require additional surgery to remove the smaller masses.
She is recovering from her first surgery like a superstar, and her beautiful personality is starting to shine through her troubled past. Olive is house, crate and leash trained and loves to go on walks. She really enjoys riding in the truck with the wind in her ears, and she’s also a sunbather and loves to relax on the porch in a sunbeam.
While she still has more surgeries to go, Olive would love to know that she has a forever home waiting for her at the end of her recovery. If you would like to open your heart and home to this adorable little girl, please reach out to either TheRescuedRescuers@gmail.com or her foster home at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are in a position to help with her medical needs, you may donate to her care at http://werescuedogs.org/2011/05/05/donations.
