Pet of the Issue – Grover

Submitted by Steve and Sharon Ingram

Our friends Steve and Sharon will be bringing eight-week-old Grover home for Thanksgiving this year. He’s a German shepherd mixed breed acquired from the good folks at Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport.

Steve believes Grover’s previous doggy daddy was a traveling salesman. Grover, his mother, and six brothers and sisters were found abandoned after Hurricane Michael.

“Thanks to the people at Alaqua for taking such good care of all the animals they take in and being so nice to us,” Steve tells Beachcomber.

Grover with Steve and Sharon Ingram, whose lives just got a whole lot better.
