Remembering Mike Mosley

AG “Mike” Mosley, age 65, peacefully passed away August 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola. He was born in Union City, Tennessee. Michael was a high-spirited, loving and generous man who never met a stranger. When he entered a room it became bright, filled with his light and life.

He touched many lives through his charm and musical talent and his willingness to help friends and neighbors, because, as Mike said, “that’s what neighbors do.”

The breadth of Mike’s reach was celebrated by many of his musician friends, family and fans on Monday, August 28, at the Funky Blues Shack in Destin. The Emerald Coast Blues Society dedicated the jam to remembering Mike.

And remember Mike they did in every note that was played, every story that was told, every hug that was shared. Remembering Mike was also an opportunity for everyone to show their love and support to the family with generous donations.

Mike Mosley is survived by his wife JoDene, son Michael, and three daughters—Neila Martin (Stephen), MaKayla Doctor (Bernard), and Mylana Bancroft (Charity).
