Pet of the Issue – Benedict

Benedict, a French Bulldog, just turned a year old, and Michael says featuring him in Pet of the Issue makes for an awesome (though belated) gift. “I bought him when he was only five pounds and eight weeks old,” says the proud doggy daddy. “He loves playing tag and going to the dog park.

“He’s a brave little pup and has no problems confronting any dog he approaches, even the ones I find intimidating!”

“At a month old, Benedict learned how to put his paw up to shake hands,” says Michael. “I put up a peace sign for this picture, and he put his up, too!”
Benedict takes a nap on Michael’s belly. “He’s not as light as when I got him.”
Benedict and Michael in a tree at the Destin Dog Park. “No, he didn’t climb up himself,” says Michael. “But he jumped down on his own!”
Benedict poses magnificently on a fire hydrant.
