Rosemary Beach’s Fall Bocce Ball Tournament

Be a part of the Fall Bocce Tournament Sunday, Oct. 8, during Columbus Day weekend. Held on the East Long Green of Rosemary Beach, this event offers friendly competition, food, drinks and fun. Prize packages from Presenting Sponsor Rosemary Beach Trading Company will be awarded to winning teams.

Space is limited, so sign up now at www.bocce30a.com. Cost to register a team of two is $65 and includes BBQ and two complimentary drinks. Tournament supporter cost is $250 and includes one team registration, access to the supporter tent with open bar, and name on the tournament banner.

Bocce rules are simple. There are two teams, and the match begins with a member of one team throwing a small ball, called the pallino, from one end of the court to another.

Then, the teams switch off throwing larger balls, called the bocce, at the pallino. When all balls have been played, one team is awarded one point for each bocce ball closer to the pallino than the closest ball of the opposing team.

Whether you are a player or a spectator, come on out for a day of fun in Rosemary Beach.

The 2017 tournament benefits Rosemary Beach Foundation and charitable partner Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

This year’s Presenting Sponsor is Rosemary Beach Trading Company. Food and beverage sponsors are A Superior Air Conditioning Company and Rosemary Beach Realty.
