Rollin’ in Soon to a Parking Lot Near You…

By Chris Manson

How’s this for
the coolest thing in ages? Tim Willi, the brains behind Fort Walton Vintage Records on Racetrack Road, and his brother Tom are ready to launch their brand new Rolling Record Store.

“The interior of the truck has been totally customized by Tim and will have the same type of bins that we use in the store,” says Tom. As pictured here, the bins will be located on each side of the vehicle and can hold over 1,200 vinyl LPs.

Display rails for albums are located above the bins, and the Rolling Record Store is set up for cash and credit card sales.

The Willis are looking for a place in Destin to park the 20‑foot step van, which is fully insured and does not require electricity or water. The Rolling Record Store is also available for special events and festivals.

We will certainly invite them to the next Beachcomber Music Awards in March 2018, but it would be a shame to have to wait that long to see this baby in action. Destin businesses—specifically, you guys on U.S. 98—call 850‑384‑6654 and let’s get things rolling!

Spread the love
