Brother-sister duo Kadan Bart Rockett and Brooklyn Nicole Rockett are recognized as the youngest professional magicians-illusionists in the world. Ages 11 and 10 respectively, the siblings have been immersed in a world of magic since they were toddlers. Presently performing at the Bart Rockett Theater in Harborwalk Village, their show is a treat for the whole family.

Kadan and Brooklyn are based in Los Angeles. They are known worldwide for their unique take on magic, using everyday objects to create hilarious and mind-blowing illusions. In 2016, they were finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and the youngest act to make it to the finals in the history of the show.

The two are veterans of over 1,000 shows. Recent television appearances include Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, and Access Hollywood Live. Kadan has appeared in movies (including Dark Skies with Keri Russell) and on numerous television shows (CBS’s Rush Hour). Together, the siblings have starred in 20 national commercials.

Their father Bart Rockett is a world-class magician, illusionist and ventriloquist. He has headlined at his own 1,000-seat theater in Branson, Missouri, for eight seasons and has appeared on numerous television programs. He has performed at Harborwalk Village for the past two years and directs his children’s shows. Their mother does all of their costumes, and their stepfather is the stage manager.

The show is very interactive, with members of the audience invited on stage to participate in magic tricks. Kadan and Brooklyn banter with each other and the audience throughout the performance. The siblings have a great stage presence and perform amazing magic tricks and illusions, adding something new each week.

The duo have circled the globe, appearing on television in more than 100 countries. “My favorite country to visit was Estonia,” says Kadan. “It was like stepping into a fairy tale. I was surprised.”

“I liked Estonia and also visiting Paris!” adds Brooklyn.

“We have friends all over the world, but our best friends live in California. Our friends treat us like normal kids.” says Kadan. Both Kadan and Brooklyn attend school online. Kadan’s favorite subjects are math and science, while Brooklyn’s are science and history. Inspiration comes from David Copperfield (Kadan) and Penn and Teller (Brooklyn).

When asked what they like most about performing, the kids sit and think for a moment. “I like bringing people into our world where they can forget their worries for awhile,” says Kadan. “Fans really mean a lot to us.”

“I like traveling all over the world,” says Brooklyn. The siblings also enjoy creating television shows at home.

It’s a busy summer for the siblings. They will be headlining a show in Colorado the last week of July and will be performing on Season 3 of Little Big Shots.

“Kadan and Brooklyn are inspiring to other kids,” says Bart. “Kids see their show and go home and try magic. It does take hard work and dedication. The greatest compliment I have received about them was from Simon Cowell. He said the kids were the real deal and that I should be very proud.”

Kadan and Brooklyn will be at the Bart Rockett Theater for just 10 more performances this summer. For more info, visit
