Pet of the Issue – Xena

Submitted by Kimberly White

Xena, a two-and-a-half year old German shepherd, relaxes in a bed of lilies in “Xenaland” (also known as her humans’ backyard).
Xena loves splashing around at the beach and chasing sticks, but she’s not as enthusiastic about getting a bath afterward.
This is Xena’s default sleeping position. Scary? Dangerous? Fierce? Anyone with a German shepherd in the family knows these dogs are just big goofballs at heart.
Xena’s holiday head bobble tradition. She’s still trying to decide what to do for Billy Bowlegs.
