Days of Earth…

Children ages 6-12 and their parents are invited to the Destin Community Center Friday, April 21, to celebrate Earth Day 2017 at 3 p.m.

The program is aimed at increasing awareness about our world in general and how using Okaloosa County’s recycling program can positively affect the wildlife in our backyards and around the world. The event also includes games, crafts and prizes and an appearance by Nonie’s Ark Animal Encounters.

Nonie will present an hour of “EDUtainment” featuring her live exotic animals, themselves “recycled.” Expect parrots, turtles, tarantulas, snakes, and even hissing cockroaches.

The program is FREE with no preregistration required. Call 850-837-8572 for more info.
