Using a palette of violin, fiddle, Native American flute and Irish whistle, Arvel Bird paints a canvas of music, wisdom and stories that honors his mixed‑blood American Indian and Celtic heritages.

Bird performs at Unity Spiritual Center of Panama City Sunday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m., Bird facilitates an Animal Totem Workshop, sharing his message of hope, borne of his many years of studying healing modalities and in developing his Animal Totems Workshops.

“Discover the Magic of Animal Totems” is a culmination of his studies, insight gained from his students and his own personal experiences. “Arvel’s music has transformed my own life and has brought me deeper understanding and connection with our brothers and sisters in the animal world,” says Rev. Joanne Burns, senior minister at Unity Spiritual Center.

Tickets for the Animal Totem Workshop are $20 per person, and concert tickets are $15 each. Purchase online at or stop by A Cup of Consciousness Bookstore, located at 1764 Lisenby Avenue in Panama City.
