The Forrest Williams Band—Beachcomber Music Awards winners for Musician of the Year, Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist and Male Vocalist— following a taping of WSRE-TV Pensacola’s StudioAmped. Forrest, Pherrel and drummer Duane Mays previewed songs from the trio’s upcoming album and nailed it on old faves like “Good Time Sunshine.” The concert will air sometime in May—we’ll keep you posted.

Following their respective first and second place honors at the recent Emerald Coast Sing Off, Anthony Shepard and Parker Willingham traveled to Atlanta to audition for NBC-TV’s The Voice. Sing Off promoter Wes Fell says, “They both made it through the first two audition rounds and were advanced to the interview round. Now these two awesome singers are waiting to see if they’ll go to Hollywood.”
