Bands of 30A hosts a charity concert Saturday, June 16, from 4 to 9 PM, at Grayton Beer Company Taproom in Santa Rosa Beach.
The event marks the fourth concert put on by the Bands of 30A, an organization designed to bring local musicians together to support meaningful charities. The featured beneficiary receiving all proceeds from the concert is Westonwood Ranch, located in Freeport.
Live music begins with TK Bardwell and Beachcomber Music Awards Hall of Famer Duke Bardwell featuring Mark Gillespie at 4 PM; followed by The Max McCann Band at 5; a songwriters round with Q’werty, Mel Knapp and David Chastang at 6; Spanish Fly at 7; and the Beachcomber Music Award winning Forrest Williams Band at 8.
Seagrove Beach Catering will have dinner plates available for purchase. 30A provides wine, and Grayton Beer Company will serve their ice-cold brew. Shore Thing Cigars will be set up on site, too.
Donations from area businesses—including a fishing charter, bonfire, and more—will be raffled off for the event’s beneficiary.
Concertgoers are asked to make a $10 donation to enjoy the entire evening of music. Donations may be made at the event or in advance at BandsOf30A.com. The family-friendly event is open to the public. Guests who purchase an official Bands of 30A cup from the donation table can take advantage of discounted drink prices.
A limited quantity of VIP packages are available for advance purchase. The $60 packages includes admission, priority seating, discounted drink cup, event t-shirt or hat, and a Bands of 30A VIP lanyard. Pre-order your VIP tickets online.
To support the concert and answer questions about their organization, representatives from Westonwood Ranch will be attending the concert. Westonwood Ranch offers a unique learning curriculum to improve life skills and vocational skills to young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In its first three charity concerts—in September and December 2017, and March 2018—Bands of 30A has raised over $20,000 for charity.
