Fort Walton Beach Medical Center celebrates veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, thanking them for their service, sacrifice and contributions to our nation’s security Friday, Nov. 10, starting at 10 a.m.

Retired U.S. Air Force Captain and wounded warrior Nathan Nelson, Deputy Director of Military Affairs for the 1st Congressional District of Florida, will be the guest speaker at the event. Mr. Nelson will talk about the importance of Veterans Day and what it means to him. Two U.S. Armed Forces veterans (and FWBMC employees) will be performing the flag ceremony followed by the national anthem, sung by two students from Northwest Florida State College.

Refreshments will be served after the program.

Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is located at 1000 Mar Walt Drive. The event takes place in the front courtyard by the flagpole.
