Mattie Kelly Fall Concert Series Kicks Off Sept. 14 with Heritage

Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) and Silver Sands Premium Outlets celebrate the fall season by presenting four fabulous Concerts in the Village performances held four consecutive Thursday evenings - Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5.

Each concert will take the Dugas Pavilion stage in the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Cultural Arts Village at 4323 Commons Drive West in Destin on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast. The gate opens at 6 p.m. and the concerts start at 7.

The kicks off on Sept. 13 with the reggae rock sounds of Destin’s own local favorite Heritage, voted Best Band at the 2017 Beachcomber Music Awards.

On Sept. 21, Freeport country band - and this year's Best Country Artist winners - Luke Langford Band will take the stage. Sept. 28 features the eclectic sounds of the popular Pensacola party band Deja Vu. The fall series concludes with timeless pop and rock hits performed by Swingtown: The Definitive Steve Miller Tribute Band out of Gulf Breeze Oct. 5.

“From MKAF’s humble beginnings dating back to 1995 as one of the first presenters of outdoor concerts featuring the community’s local musical talent, we are delighted to bring more entertainment to the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village," says MKAF CEO Marcia Hull. "Based on patron feedback, offering this new four-week fall series will enable us to showcase just a few of our region’s best entertainment for all ages."

Bring a lawn chair, picnic and wine or purchase soft drinks and dinner prepared by a featured restaurant or food trucks on site.

General admission tickets are $10. Children 12 and under are FREE. Purchase concert tickets at the gate.

VIP Tables (seating eight) are available for the entire series for $350. Tables are sold on a first come, first served basis and may be reserved by calling 850-650-2226 during office hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more details about the MKAF Concerts in the Village Fall Series, visit

MKAF also will have a drawing for exciting prizes and packages at intermission during each concert. Visit the donation table located near the stage before the concert to enter to win.

Concert proceeds from MKAF cultural events help fund arts education community outreach programs serving K-12 students, adults and children with special needs and military and veteran populations suffering with PTSD and TBI.

The concerts are rain or shine, so no refunds will be provided. Patrons are invited to bring picnics and wine or beer or purchase dinner and drinks (bottled water and soft drinks) on site, but for the comfort of all guests, tables over two-feet long, drones and pets (except service dogs) are not permitted.
