The Arts and Design Society is calling all artists to participate in their upcoming “What’s in the Constitution” show, in which artwork inspired by a phrase from the United States Constitution, must have that phrase appear in the artwork. Cash awards. Turn in work Saturday, June 24, 1-4 p.m., and Monday, June 26, 9 a.m.-noon. Entry fee is $35 for two pieces ($25 for ADSO members). Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) announces a call for artists for its 22nd Annual Festival of the Arts, to be held Oct. 28 and 29 throughout the grounds of the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. Artist applications and poster competition entries are now being accepted. The winning design for the official poster competition will become the signature artwork reproduced on festival t-shirts, posters, marketing collateral and specialty merchandise, and will be prominently displayed on the cover of the official Festival of the Arts guide with a distribution of more than 30,000.
