MARY HONG GALLERY Located in Grayton Beach (Shops of Grayton), Destin (next to Ulta and Michael’s), Nashville (4th and Union next to DoubleTree Hotel) and on Magazine Street in New Orleans. Mary Hong, the 2014 South Walton Artist of the Year, has been featured in over 10 publications and has appeared on Emeril’s Florida TV show and HGTV’s House Hunters. Mary’s take on glass art incorporates the use of repurposed glass on painted canvas. She and her team offer classes at The Shard Shop, located adjacent to or inside her gallery locations. Classes are offered four to five times a day, and there is an extensive retail section full of thousands of pounds of glorious glass and art kits to take your ShardWorx on the go. VELIA LALA DESIGNS features works from award-winning Velia Lala as well as other local artists working in a multitude of mixed media. The Design Center is one of the few unique gift boutiques left in our area. As well as showcasing her art and that of others, Velia has a great selection of her art printed textile line, clothing and hand embellished jackets. Velia Lala Designs has expanded their offerings this year to include “The Art of Walls,” which is a form of creating faux finishes for those one of a kind special accent walls or entire room changes.
