Pet of the Issue – Chip

Chip was born August 1, 2018, the same day Brandon’s first dachshund Nugget (a previous Beachcomber Pet of the Issue) passed away.

“I wasn’t going to get another doggy so soon, but I went to visit (my friend’s) new puppies, and Chip and I had an instant connection,” Brandon says. “He’s been my best friend since that day.”

Nicknamed Chips ‘n Dip, the full breed dachshund “lives for treats, walks and sleeping in a bed every night.” He also loves playing fetch with his toys and eating ice. And he has what his daddy has diagnosed as “a chicken jerky addiction.”
