John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum
Directed by Chad Stahelski
Much as I loved the first two installments, they didn’t have (1) Halle Berry, or (2) Halle Berry’s dogs. Plus a little more plot, but not enough to distract from the wall-to-wall carnage—sort of the action movie equivalent of gonzo porn. Keanu Reeves and company have raised the bar (and then some) for Chapter 4, but I have faith that they can pull it off. The film also holds the all-time record for shattered glass, enough to get most of the jaded stay-at-homes’ asses in theater seats.
