Tuesdays. Art for Children Ages 6-12, 4-5:30 PM. Marcy Eady teaches about the masters and their styles using principles of basic drawing, painting and sculpture. Media vary each week. Cost per month is $70 ($60 for ADSO members). All supplies included.
Tuesdays. Oil Painting with Dale Gauvin, 9 AM-1 PM. Learn the Chiaroscuro technique favored by the old masters. Cost is $90 ($80 for ADSO members).
Tuesdays. Open Studio, 7-9:30 PM. Bring your own supplies (no pottery) and work with other Beachcomberland artists. Cost is $12 ($10 for ADSO members). Call Marcy at 850-585-4967 by 5:30 p.m. to ensure access.
June 7, 8 and 9. Figuratively Speaking Sculpture Workshop with Laurel Siwicki, 9 AM-4 PM each day. Explore techniques in anatomy, proportion, design and expression while using the figure to develop a narrative. Cost, including clay and firing, is $225 ($195 for ADSO members).
June 13. Standing Magazine Basket Workshop with Carol Dickson, 10 AM-2 PM. Create your own pattern using reeds and seagrass. Cost is $51 ($46 for ADSO members) and includes all materials.
June 22. “Welcome to Watercolors!” Workshop with Natalia Light, 10 AM-12:30 PM. Paint blooming poppy fields and learn how to simplify highly detailed landscapes. Cost is $25 ($20 for ADSO members). Supply list online or purchase in class for $5.
