Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Robert Rothman
DVD, Blu-ray, On Demand, Red Box, etc.
Apparently, the powers that be at Marvel (or Disney, or whoever) told the wildly imaginative folks behind this year’s Oscar winner for Best Animated Film, “Here, take Spider-Man and just do whatever the hell you want with him.” A crazy move that pays off in dazzling visuals and big laughs. I hope Spider-Ham (a/k/a Peter Porker) gets his own movie, or at least turns up in the next Avengers flick.
