Ms. Cork, a South Walton resident, has spent more than 25 years painting in oils, acrylics, watercolor and mixed media. Her love of primary colors is a signature theme to her work.
She paints to evoke the joy of life, especially her love of the beach. “I want each painting to be a vacation—an escape from the bustle of daily life to a place of sunshine and color,” she says.
Ms. Cork has studied with artists and art instructors throughout the United States, Mexico and Italy. Her work has been accepted in juried shows in Florida and Alabama. The artist’s creativity is on display at the Studio Gallery in Grayton Beach and in private collections throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. She is also a member of the Artists of 30A.
