OPENS FEB. 1. DOLLY VARI EXHIBIT AT THE WALTON COUNTY COASTAL BRANCH LIBRARY, SANTA ROSA BEACH
The Freeport artist began her creative journey while living in Texas, where she learned to work in acrylics, painting on wood and used saw blades. Being a northern girl, her subject matter then was landscapes, including lots of snow scenes reminiscent of her childhood in New York.
Today, Ms. Vari is committed to working in watercolors on paper. Determined to paint daily to perfect her skills, the artist’s hope is that her ladies, florals and landscapes will delight. As a single parent of three successful children, she is grateful for all the networking and support of the Beachcomberland art community.
The library is located at 437 Greenway Trail. Hours are 9 AM-6 PM Mondays and 9 AM-5 PM Tue.-Sat.
