This beautiful dog is Chicka. She was surrendered by her owner, who was affected by Hurricane Michael. Chicka is a three-year-old Chocolate Lab mix and weighs around 50 pounds. This fun-loving gal has a zest for life that is contagious. She will have you running and playing right alongside her, and when you’re tired, she will happily nap beside you. Help us find a home for Chicka before the holidays are here.
Alaqua is excited to announce their “Homes for the Holidays” special where they have sponsored adoption fees for all of our dogs over six months of age. Their goal is to find a home for every dog that is currently at the Refuge by Christmas. All of the dogs will receive their spay/neuter, microchip and be current on vaccines.
If you are interested in Chicka, please fill out an application at www.alaqua.org/adopt/apply. We will then schedule a time for you to meet her.
