Billy Claus is Santa’s warm weather-loving brother who lives in the Caribbean but comes this way to help Santa during the holiday season. The LuLuBelles are Billy’s version of Santa’s elves. Billy will arrive in style at 2 PM and visit with children.

Billy and the LuLuBelles will be available for photos with the children. In addition to kids’ arts and crafts activities, there will be a reading of Billy Claus and the Spirit of Christmas, written by Lucy Buffett. For more info, call 850-710-5858.

TUESDAY, JAN. 1, 2019

TENTH ANNUAL PENGUIN PLUNGE AND PADDLE

Juana’s Pagodas and Sailors’ Grill, Navarre Beach, 12:30 PM

Show off your paddleboard skills at 12:30, then take a brave plunge into the Santa Rosa Sound at 1:30. After that, enjoy complimentary food and drink in the Juana’s beach tent, along with live music, awards and raffle. Proceeds benefit the Santa Rosa Kids House and Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

Entry fee for the plunge starts at $20 per person and the SUP adventure starts at $30 per person. Register at juanaspagodas.com.
