Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is proud to announce the addition of the Shard Shop to the Village of Baytowne Wharf with the opening of their newest location on Cannery Lane. Guests and visitors to Sandestin have the opportunity to create amazing art out of color shards of glass on canvas.
The Shard Shop is a friendly Make‑Your‑Own‑Art boutique offering daily classes in ShardWorx, the art of glass on a painted canvas. “No matter your skill level, ShardWorx is fun for all ages,” says owner and artist Mary Hong. “It’s a great opportunity for groups of friends, families or multi‑generations to get together and create memories.”
“Sandestin is excited to add the Shard Shop to our offerings of fun and entertainment at the Village of Baytowne Wharf,” says Kitty Whitney, executive director, Sandestin Real Estate. “We strive to present new entertainment opportunities to our guests and know the Shard Shop will be a great addition this season for families and friends to enjoy vacation time creating incredible art.”
The Shard Shop also offers the sale of glass art created by local artists, as well as art kits for those who want to enjoy the experience at home.
The Shard Shop in the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is open from 4 to 9 PM daily and can accommodate groups for parties or events. To schedule a class or group activity, call 850‑737‑1211.
