PROFESSION: Musician—I’ve been a professional entertainer for over 35 years.
AGE: I’ll be 60 this month.
RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Retired. Being a fulltime musician is something I always dreamed about. Moving here and being welcomed is just amazing. I’m overwhelmed by the support we’ve gotten since we moved to Fort Walton Beach.
PROFILE: I’m doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing. I played weekend warrior until about 2003, then started playing casinos when we moved to Gulfport, Mississippi. I started playing here in 2005, sitting in with bands.
I performed many years with a full band before becoming a solo artist in 2004. I play guitar and keyboard, along with professional backing tracks for a “full band” sound. My experience in performing in clubs, casinos, lounges and restaurants—and at private events like weddings—allows me to provide a variety of music for both indoor and outdoor venues for all ages. I can provide easy listening for intimate settings and dance music for larger events.
I perform a variety of music—oldies, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, R&B, pop and top 40, classic and new country, island music, Elvis, Sinatra… I’m always adding the latest hits to my extensive playlist.
I stopped playing for a while, then my wife Judy said she’d manage me, do the booking. She’s done a tremendous job. I’d be nothing without her.
