Nashville Comes to Sandestin Oct. 7 and 8

Published on

Many of our old Nashville pals return to Beachcomberland Oct. 7 and 8 for the Nashville Songwriters Florida Sunshine Tour at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Among the big names are Aaron Barker—writer of the George Strait hits “Baby Blue” and “Love Without End, Amen”—who is being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame the day after this event.

The Nashville Songwriters Florida Sunshine Tour—presented by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in conjunction with Visit Florida and BMI—includes two full days of FREE concerts by the men and women behind the hits at Sandestin’s Village of Baytowne Wharf. Barker, Bobby Tomberlin, Kendell Marvel, Even Stevens, Bill LaBounty and others will share the stories behind the songs.

The songwriters’ resumes boast hits for Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Eddie Rabbitt, Joe Cocker, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Jamey Johnson, Patty Loveless, Darius Rucker, LoCash and many others. The nightly concerts will be held at Baytowne’s numerous venues so music fans will have an opportunity to see everyone.

For our out‑of‑town readers, take note—deluxe accommodations start at just $119. Visit Sandestin.com/SONG16 or call 855‑404‑1994 for offers and more event details (Promo code SONG16).
